LOS ANGELES (July 7, 2026) — LADWP crews are working to restore power to approximately 1,575 customers in parts of the neighborhoods of Encino, Tarzana, and Reseda. The outages started around noon on Tuesday, July 7, for some affected customers, and around 1:40 p.m. for other customers. There is no current estimated time of restoration as crews work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible to affected customers. The cause of the power outages is under investigation. We are also aware that LAFD responded to a fire by the Encino Reservoir earlier this afternoon. The cause of the fire is also under investigation. We are coordinating with LAFD as they conduct their investigation and as we work to restore power.
