LOS ANGELES (September 9, 2020)– LADWP crews completed work overnight to restore power to the remaining customers affected by power outages caused by the record-breaking heat storm over the Labor Day weekend. In the event that any customer is still be experiencing either low voltage/dim lights or an outage, please check your circuit breakers. If the problem is still not resolved please call us at 1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397) so we can dispatch a crew to investigate.
We want to thank both our incredible crews, who worked 16-hour shifts around the clock to restore power, and our customers who were affected by outages. We appreciate your patience as we, along with other utilities in Southern California, responded to this major incident which affected our local distribution grid. Over the coming days, our crews will continue working to make permanent repairs in areas where temporary repairs were made to restore power more quickly.
