In total, there are approximately 4,700 customers affected by these outages. While our crews work to restore power to the remaining affected customers within 48-hours, despite every effort and using all available resources there will be some customers who unfortunately experience outages over 48-hours.
As previously reported, LADWP requested mutual aid from nearby utilities to aid in restoration efforts, however, they have indicated they are unable to provide support at this time due to restoration work ongoing in their service areas.
We want to reassure our customers that we are using all available resources to address remaining outages and restore power as quickly and safely as possible. If you are affected, we thank you for your patience as we, along with other utilities in Southern California, work as hard and fast as possible to restore power.
We will provide additional updates throughout the duration of restoration work here at http://www.ladwpnews.com, on Twitter @LADWP and on NextDoor.
