Power Outage UpdateAs of 10:30 a.m. – Tuesday |
LOS ANGELES- The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) reports approximately 9,900 of its 1.4 million electric customers are experiencing power service interruptions as rain and winds caused outages in several neighborhoods. Working around the clock, LADWP Power System crews have restored electric service to an estimated 40,000 customers since the storm began yesterday.
The following communities currently have the most number of customers impacted: •South Los Angeles: 4,800 LADWP crews continue working around the clock as quickly and safely as possible to restore power. The public and members of the media are encouraged to check the Department’s news site and Twitter page, @LADWP, for updates. The next outage update will be posted at approximately 2:30 p.m. |
