From March 1 to April 25, 2022, North Landing road north of Crowley Lake Reservoir will be closed.
Vehicular traffic from the public will be prohibited during this time to limit potential disturbance during the prime breeding season for Greater Sage-Grouse, a sensitive species. The closure will be lifted on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, prior to the Fishing Opener.
As stewards of nearly 315,000 acres of land, the goal of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is to employ best management practices for land and water uses while protecting water quality, habitat, and biodiversity. LADWP is committed to implementing conservation actions in support of maintaining and improving habitat and the success of Greater Sage-Grouse.
