- Age 60 or older and provide a government-issued ID showing proof of age
- Have an LADWP account in their name
- Are enrolled in LADWP’s EZ-SAVE or Lifeline discount programs, or are income-qualified to enroll in these programs. Customers can enroll in EZ-SAVE at the event if they are not already signed up for this program.
- Have not already received an A/C from one of LADWP’s previous events

As Los Angeles-area temperatures rise, LADWP has been working with the Los Angeles Department of Aging to host “Heat Relief for Seniors” events. This is the fourth event in the series. The events are part of LADWP’s Cool LA program, which helps customers better manage the impacts of extreme heat – especially older adults, income-qualified individuals and families, and those living in underserved communities. Extreme heat endangers the health and well-being of Angelenos living in “heat islands” – areas where the average temperature is hotter than surrounding regions.
Cool LA is one of LADWP’s Powered by Equity initiatives: a collection of programs that ensure that no Los Angeles community is left behind as the city moves toward a clean energy future. Learn more at www.LADWP.com/PoweredByEquity.
