The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) supports Mono County’s action of restriction on open fires on private property within the unincorporated areas of Mono County, and the closing of county-operated campground in Lundy Canyon. LADWP has contacted its leasees and helped notify campgrounds, RV parks, and Crowley Lake of the ban on open fires in light of the extreme fire danger threatening Mono County.
