Crews Nearing Full Restoration of Customer Outages Remaining from Weekend Heat Storm
LADWP crews working to restore power to those affected
As of 4:30 p.m. today, July 9, LADWP power system crews are nearing full restoration of customer outages remaining from this weekend’s heat storm. Crews restored power to nearly all affected residents in Koreatown with 103 customers remaining without power, down from a high of over 7,000 customers. A total of approximately 1,900 customers who lost power over the weekend are still without power.
In the Metro Los Angeles area, East Hollywood with approximately 900 customers without power; and Silver Lake with approximately 100 customers without power.
We appreciate our customers’ patience as our crews continue working 16-hour shifts around the clock to get power restored to those affected.
