SEPTEMBER 9, 2024 (LOS ANGELES)– Below is an update on our heat storm response as of 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024.
As of 4:00 p.m., the number of customers without electric service stands at 6,384 out of LADWP’s 1.5 million electric customers. There are currently 82 area outage incidents which affect small numbers of customers at the community level.
We are asking customers whose outage response times extend beyond 24 hours to call our customer contact center at 1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397) so that we can reach out to them directly.
We are utilizing all available resources to support our restoration efforts with over 75 crews in the field prioritizing restoration to the longest duration outages.
