Highlights:
• As of 9:30 a.m., all customers affected by heat-related outages have been restored.
• There are currently about 46 crews in the field, including DWP electric trouble crews, district crews, transmission crews, and private crews who are working on the replacement of transformers that were in jeopardy or had to be reset during the heatwave.
• Crews are now working their 8th straight day, and are now working 12-hour shifts.
POWER DEMAND
Due to cooler temperatures, power demand is reduced to average load for this time of year.
